Yolanda Gomez

Maria Yolanda Gomez-Olvera, passed away on August 22, 2021 in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of 31. Maria was born on October 28, 1989 in Mexico to Bartolo Gomez and Maria Luz Gomez.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her father Bartolo Gomez in November of 2020.

She is survived by her sons Tylor Abel Gomez and Humberto (Jr.) Gomez, her mother, her siblings Jose Luis Gomez, Anna Castro, Estella Gomez, Roberto Gomez, Reggie Gomez, Jose Rosendo, Diana Roberts, and Eric Gomez. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Yolanda worked at Tres Ninos and took care of her two boys. She was a hard-working single mom, strong, courageous but always had a smile and was loving and caring.

Services are under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral home with visitation being held Tuesday August 24 at 6PM and rosary beginning at 7PM in the chapel. Funeral Mass will be held On Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Nocona.
