Vida Mae Adams

Vida Mae Adams was born on December 6, 1925 in New Boston, Texas to Tom and Alva Sanford Platt. She passed from this life on July 17, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Winston Adams, her siblings, Tommy Platt, Alline Platt, Sissy Plat.

She is survived by her son Larry Adams of Wichita Falls, Texas; four granddaughters: Kelly Austin and husband Chance of Justin, Texas, Kimberly Haish, Pearl River, LA, Ashley Cervantes Wichita Falls, Texas, and Nicole Adams of Ft. Worth, Texas; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as two sisters: Eddie Faye Choate and Bobbie Brasier.

Vida worked for Levi-Strauss for 27 years as a supervisor.

Ms. Adams was a woman who was boisterous and had a lot of friends. She will be missed by many.

Scott Morris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the services of Ms. Adams. There will be a graveside service at Byers Cemetery on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10AM. Kern Choate will be officiating.
