Tom Wilson

John Thomas "Tom" Wilson, Jr passed from this life on March 18, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 19, 1941 in Eldorado, Arkansas to John Thomas, Sr. and Margarett (Harrell) Wilson. Tom was 77 years old.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy Wilson, his sister Marge Governale and his parents.

Tom is survived by his son Corey Wilson and wife Amy of Brock, daughter Kimberly Jones and husband Shawn of Nocona. Grandchildren: Justin Buck of Nocona, Jared Buck and wife Kayla of Florida, Mason Jones of Houston, Kaylee Wilson of Weatherford, Megan Jones of New Jersey, Jayden Wilson of Brock and Kutter Wilson of Brock. Four great-grandchilren: Keaton, Ryleigh, Brantlynn, and Levi, his sisters Loretta Pipkin and Linda Bickle, a brother-in-law Tim Grimsley and a sister-in-law Karen Grimsley and his longtime best friend Sissy.

As a young man, Tom served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Tom attended the church of Christ in Nocona where he maintained the building and the people in it for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and supporting his grandchildren in all of their activities. He also enjoyed playing cards.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 6PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home and services will be Friday at 2:00PM at the Church of Christ with Austin Wright officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Nocona Cemetery.
