Thomas Andrew Harris

Thomas (Tom) Andrew Harris went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, January 19th, 2018 in Wichita Fall, Texas at the age of 75 years after a brief illness. Born to Albert and Nona (Molsbee) Harris on February 8th, 1942, Tom spent the beginning years of his life in and around the Nocona area, going to school in the Prairie Valley district.


Tom worked various jobs in his home town before moving to Irving, Texas to work for the newly built DFW airport and then moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he resided for 46 years. Tom worked for Alliance Insurance company and later American Farm and Ranch Insurance for 35 years. Tom and his family had recently moved back to Nocona in retirement.

Tom married Margaret Ballinger on September 23, 1966 in Nocona and they celebrated their 50th anniversary together in September 2016. Tom and Margaret have one son Lee Harris residing at Grace Care Center in Nocona.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Windell Harris and Carroll Harris. He is survived by his wife Margaret, son Lee Harris, sister Martha Johnson and many nephews and nieces throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

Services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2PM at Molsbee Chapel Church with interment at the Molsbee Chapel cemetery following. Tom's family will receive visitors Sunday evening, 5:00-6:00.
