Ted Johnson

Ted Johnson of Bowie passed away January 30th, 2017 at the age of 50. Ted was born March 13th, 1966 in Austin to Paul and Hester (Hamby) Johnson. Ted was preceded in death by his parents and his son Arturo Gonzales, Jr. ("Tito"). Ted is survived by his wife Jennifer, sons Chris Gonzales and wife Martha, Michael gonzales, Lorenzo Gonzales, Dustin Johnson, Matthew Brockman, and Jonathan Brockman; daughter Nikki Roper and husband Cody; brothers Claude Johnson and wife Barbara, Mike Johnson and wife Sherrie, and Danny Johnson; sisters Paula Johnson, and Mayful Warton and husband Mike; and grandchildren Tate, Jaxson, Ashlynn, Torrence, Jordan, Ava, Johnny, and Jessie. Ted spent much of his life working in nursing homes, both as a CNA and in maintenace. He loved spending time at the lake, and he loved sports, especially rooting for his children in their games and for the UT Longhorns. Ted was deeply loved, deeply missed, and will never forgotten.
