Susan Beth Fry

Susan Beth Fry passed away on October 21, 2021 in Brownsville, Texas at the age of sixty-five. She was born on November 11, 1955 to Henry Allen and Sarah Whitefield in Muleshoe, Texas. Sh was married to Carl David Franklin Carter until his death and then married Larry Fry and they made a life together until his death.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, as well as a son, Robert Franklin Carter. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Roxy Rogers, and Diane Perry, as well as her brothers Herbert Whitefield, Roger Whitefield and Eddie Whitefield.

Susan is survived by her son David Carter and his wife Tia. Her siblings Toni Jacks and Hodge Whitfield, her brother in law Eddie Rogers, her grandchildren Briana Jackson and her husband Jesse, David Allen Carter II, Lynnzey Carter and fiance Clay Mason, and Chloe Carter. Her great-granchildren Reagan Mason and Cooper Mason.

Susan loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as gardening, which she got the grandchildren to help with. She had them lugging potting soil and doing the heavy lifting.

Susan's family will have a memorial service on October 30, 2021 at 12pm at the Freewill Baptist Church in Bowie, Texas, Glenn Neff officiating.
