Sonja Lynne Mitchell Glasker

Sonja Lynne Mitchell Glasker, of Nocona, passed away on Oct. 19, 2019, in Wichita Falls.
Memorial and graveside services will be held in December with time and date to be announced in the upcoming weeks. Lynne wished to be cremated with her ashes buried in a family plot at Nocona Cemetery. Arrangements will be conducted by Scott Morris Funeral Home.
Born in Nocona to Sandy and Pat Mitchell on Oct. 9, 1962, she graduated from NHS in 1981 and went on to graduate from Tarleton State University in 1985.
Lynne greatly enjoyed her work as a cosmetologist and befriended countless customers over the years who became beloved friends. Always the cheerleader, Lynne could be counted on to bring her boisterous spirit and show support at every and all Nocona events and athletics. She was vibrant, outspoken, and never shied from a challenge. Her laugh was unmistakable, and her sense of humor and generous heart equally extraordinary.
Lynne is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel York, Lillie Mitchell and Afton Mitchell, and her father, Sandy Mitchell.
Lynne is survived by her son, Deuce Glasker, mother, Pat Mitchell, sister and brother-in law, Lee Mitchell Dolphin and Rob Dolphin, niece and nephew-in law, Kalyn and Nate Milburn, niece Rachel Williams, step-nephew Loren Dolphin, and great-nephew and great-niece, Wesley and Noelle Milburn.
Known by many as either Lynne or Sonja, she was a truly loving, supporting and dedicated mother to Deuce and true friend to so many.
The outpour of prayers, love and support that has been shown to Deuce and family is a testament of how much she will be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Nocona Booster Club.
Deuce, Pat-Pat, Lee and the entire family wishes to extend our sincere gratitude and returned love to the those that have reached out to us. We all have so many great memories with Lynne over the years, and your love will keep them alive.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 10:30 AM at Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home. Sonja's family will host a memorial service for Sonja at Montague County Cowboy Church Saturday, December 21, 2019, 12:30 PM with Austin Wright officiating,
