Shane Atteberry

Shane Atteberry, 57 of Nocona, passed from this life March 6, 2024. Shane was born November 22, 1966 to Bill and Sarah Atteberry.
Shane loved spending time with friends, especially if it meant tossing horseshoes or watching sports. He loved wrestling and NASCAR, and he was an avid fan of both the OU Sooners and the Chicago Bears. Shane also took great joy in keeping up with the family history.
Shane was preceded in death by his wife Shelley Young, his parents Bill and Sarah, his brother Chad, and his grandfather Curly.
Shane is survived by his sons Brady Atteberry, Mitch Atteberry, Reasal Baucum, and Treilyn James; grandchildren Emery, John, Krislin, Remy, Heidi, Matthew, Madison, Myleigh, Jonathan, Samuel, Christopher, Peyton, and Faith-Lynn; uncles Larry and Riley, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Shane's family will host a memorial service Thursday, March 14, 2024, 3:00 at "the V" in Nocona with Jimbo Hancock officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Jimbo Hancock, John Williams, Tim Phipps, and Chad Bell.
