Sarah Sue Thompson

Sarah Sue Thompson passed away January 26,2019 in Nocona, Texas. She was born on December 20,1934 in Davidson, Oklahoma to John and Mary Ruth (Reed) Pettyjohn.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry L. Thompson after 51 1/2 years of marriage, a daughter Lou Jane Thompson, as well as her parents John and Mary Ruth Pettyjohn and her three brothers.

She is survived by her daughters Jerri Dudley and husband Jim, Tommi West and husband Walter and son Dean Thompson and wife Jennifer and first grandson Jason Thompson. Her legacy will live on in her 9 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Caring In-laws, host of nieces and nephews, long time friends. Her dearest best friend Billie Lou Partney.

She moved to Nocona at the age of 9 years old and this is where she wanted to be the most. Work at Nocona Boot Company for 24 years. She enjoyed reading, working in her flower garden and riding on the back of a motorcycle with husband visiting the western states.

The family is holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
