Roxy Ann Rogers

Roxy Ann Rogers, 67 of Bowie, went to be with the Lord on November 4th, 2020 in Decatur, TX. Roxy was born on October 23, 1953 in Sudan, TX to H.A. and Sarah Whitefield. She graduated from Polly High School in 1971 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in medical coding. She worked at Wise Regional for over 15 years and for HCA Hospital Corporation for another 15 years until she retired in 2018 due to her illness. Roxy was a very dedicated hard worker. She enjoyed spending time with family, making creative home improvements, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many.
Roxy was proceeded in death by her parents H.A. and Sarah Whitefield, brother Eddie Whitefield, brother Roger Whitefield, sister Diane Juarez, brother Herbert Whitefield, grandson Bryant Davison, and granddaughter Allison Snider.
Roxy is survived by her husband James Rogers and son Dassen Rogers, daughter April Holmes and husband Kevin, daughter Angela Rogers, son James Rogers and wife Jody all of Bowie, daughter Amy Snider of Bridgeport, daughter Vanessa Massengale and husband Ernest of Jacksboro, sister Susan Fry of Bowie, sister Toni Jacks of New Mexico, and brother Hodgie Whitefield of Itasca.
Roxy is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family was her world but she had a loving heart and helping hand for everyone. She shared and spread so much love and the word of God to everyone.
Services will be held Monday, November 9, at 10:00AM at the Church of Christ in Nocona. John Morris, Jr. officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
