Robert Dale "Mike" Norman

1958 - 2025

Robert Dale "Mike" Norman, 66, passed away on April 9, 2025, in Nocona, Texas. Born in New Albany, Indiana, to Harry T. and Dorothy Norman, Mike lived a life full of heart, humor, and hustle.

Mike was a hot mess-in the most lovable, unforgettable way imaginable. With a personality too big to be contained and a heart just as large, he never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a hand. A dreamer at his core, Mike had a passion for collecting old, beat-up cars-what some might call junk, he saw as treasure.

He deeply loved his family, his friends, and his dogs, and he made sure everyone around him knew it. Whether through a story, a helping hand, or one of his wild dreams, Mike had a way of leaving a mark on everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Norman, his three brothers, and one sister, Patricia Pierce. As well as his best four-legged friend Rowdy "RuRu" Jo. He is survived by significant other Debra Compton Stone. As well as his children, Shana Norman, Rob Norman, and Laurie Boydstun, as well as his brother, Scott Norman. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Sierra Jones, Devin Hancock, Destinee Norman, Keegan Norman, Xander Norman, Lily Boydstun, and Reid Boydstun, and his great-grandchild, Kylie Hancock.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home in Nocona. A private service will be held by the family.

Mike will be missed, remembered, and celebrated for the wild ride of love and laughter he gave to all who knew him.
