Peter H Wigglesworth was born on November 13, 1930 in western Massachusetts. Passed away peacefully on October 1, 2020. Pete served in the Air Force as a radar technician. Part of his time in the Air Force he spent in Japan which he loved to talk about. After discharge, he moved to California. During that time he worked in quality control, later he moved to Arkansas to work for Alltel. He was transferred to Nocona, TX where he settled with his late wife, Mary (née Foresee). Pete touched many lives. He loved to be around his horses. He looked forward to his yearly trail ride in Colorado and trail rides in Oklahoma. With his late wife, Mary, whom he married in 1970, he raised a few of their grandkids. After the kids left the house, Pete, in his 80s at the time, worked at the elementary school as a substitute teacher and, then, later took a full-time job as a teacher’s aid. He was beloved by the students. He was an avid reader, especially loving books by James Patterson and Nora Roberts, and in his retirement was known to frequent the library for new books. Pete is survived by a host of family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. Due to Covid-19 and Pete’s expressed concern for others, the family and closest of local friends will be holding a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shriners' Hospital for Children.
