Peggy Sue Hartsell

Peggy Sue Hartsell was born on May 22, 2940 to William and Opal (Hatton) Plumlee in Parker County, Texas. She passed from this life on March 25, 2023 in Nocona, Texas. Peggy married her husband Tommy F. Hartsell, Sr. in April of 1957. Together they ran Tommy F. Hartsell Motors as well as a health food store. When Peggy wasn't helping Tommy with the businesses she was at home caring for their children. After they retired from self-employment they moved to Nocona Hills so they could enjoy playing golf together.

Peggy was a member of the Nocona Hills Church and loved to do flower arrangements for them. She enjoyed decorating for Christmas in her home as well as the country clubhouse at the Hills for various parties they would have. She liked to garden and had a green thumb. When she was younger she and Tommy would take off for rides with their motorcycle club the cliffdwellers. She and Tommy also loved to dance.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She is survived by her husband Tommy F. Hartsell, Sr, her children Autumn Howell, Tommy Hartsell, Jr. and Julie Kurtnick. She was blessed to have to have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

At this time the family has chosen to have a memorial service at a later time.
