Nancy Elaine Smith

Nancy Elaine Smith passed from this life on August 14, 2021 in Decatur, Texas surrounded by her
family. She was born on December 4, 1948 to Robert and Lillian Jackson Brothers in Hale Center, Texas.

Nancy lived in Nocona for twenty-five years before she moved to Decatur to be closer to her family. She loved to crochet and her four-legged family, as well as playing Wahoo with her friends. Nancy always looked on the bright side of whatever she was struggling through.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Brey Smith, Jr. in 2013 and her sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Cheri Storrs, sons James Simmons, Richie Simmons and Jason Smith; beloved step-mother Helen R. Brothers; and her brother Robert W. Brothers. Her legacy will live on through her eleven grandchildren Tori Horton, Tiffany Storrs, Michael Simmons, Kevin Simmons, Alexis Simmons, Sydney Simmons, Anna Robinson, Courtney Smith, Cody Smith, Colton Smith and Dusten Simmons. Also her twelve great-grandchildren. Nancy loved her family and being around all these children.

Ms. Smith's services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Scott-Morris Chapel
