Mildred Fay "Mickey" Leeper

June 30, 1926 — July 8, 2022

Mildred (Mickey) Fay (Naylor) Leeper passed away on July 8, 2022. She was born June 30, 1926 at Ringgold Texas to Joe Foster and Gertrude Potter Naylor. She graduated from Ringgold High School and married Lewis Leeper in 1944. They lived in Corpus Christi, Nocona, Canadian and Houston. They came back to Nocona to retire. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School worked with the Girls in Action, Mission Friends and Awanas. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and a member of the Crape Myrtle Garden Club where she served in several offices including two times as President. She worked in the bank and was a school secretary in three different high schools. She retired from Spring Woods Senior High in the Spring Branch school district in Houston Texas. She liked to travel, work in the yard and garden but especially enjoyed getting together with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters and her husband Lewis. She is survived by her son Joe and his wife Brenda Leeper of McKinney and numerous nieces and nephews. Instead of flowers she has requested donations be made to the First Baptist Church in Nocona or the Ringgold Cemetery Association in Ringgold, Texas.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, July 11 from 6-7PM at Scott-Morris Chapel. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 12 at 10AM at the first Baptist Church in Nocona with Dave Woodbury officiating.
