Mike W. Gann

Michael Gann, of Gordonville, passed from this life May 10, 2022 at the age of 61. Michael was born November 28, 1960 in Bowie to A.D. and Rose Marion (Duncan) Gann.
Michael was a skilled mechanic and handyman. He knew how to fix pretty much anything! He has worked in maintenance for Cedar Mills Marina.
Michael had a great heart. He was full of compassion and empathy. He was generous and kind. Anyone who need help could depend on him to be there. He knew what it meant to work hard and to take pride in a job well done.
One of the most consistent ways Michael found to help others was through Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a leader in local A.A. meetings, and he was always reaching out to help others find sobriety and regain their lives.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Patricia Blevins. Michael is survived by his children Michael Craig Gann, Dustin Kester, and Misty Mathews; siblings Mary Patrick, Allen Gann, Shannon Gann; close friend Tammy Jones; nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts and uncles.
Michael's funeral will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in Nocona, under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
