Mary Kimberly Carr, born on November 20, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, peacefully entered into rest on November 27, 2024.
Ms. Kim was a dedicated member of her church family at Trinity Baptist Temple, where she served faithfully for 24 years, including her role as a deacon's wife. She had a profound love for children and teaching, impacting the lives of many during her nine years at Valerie's Kid Kare.
Known for her culinary talents, Ms. Kim enjoyed cooking with her husband for church events and retreats. She was especially famous for her late-night snacks, always ensuring a stash of double stuffed Oreos and peanut M&M's was on hand.
Married for 43 wonderful years, Ms. Kim was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a doting grandmother who loved unconditionally. Her warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father Sammy Gonzales and daughter Bobbie Deann Carr.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Carr, parents Katherine Davis and bonus dad Robert Davis, daughter Eva Marie Carr of Frankston, TX and siblings Sammie Ballard of Springtown, TX and Debra Davis of Dallas, TX. Her legacy will live on in her grandchildren: Aimee Jordan of Tyler, TX, Tiffany Matschek, CO, Cameron Simmons,CO, Christopher Carr, Germany, Landon Carr, Frankston, TX, Morgan Crawford, Frankston, TX and Caleb Simmons , Justin, TX, her great-grandchildren: Raelynn Jordan, Grace Matschek, Grayson Brooks Carr, Charlotte Everleigh Rose Carr, and Bella Jean. There are many other children that she made room in her heart for and treated as her own.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
Services are entrusted to Scott-Morris Funeral Home and will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Temple with a visitation at 11AM and service at noon with Pastor Kyle Densmore officiating.
