Martha Pauline Thompson

Martha Thompson born July 8, 1957 in Nocona, Texas to Fred and Hattie (Clement) Thompson passed from this life on July 11, 2016 in Gainesville, Texas. Ms. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Inell Echols, Maxine Grey, Charles Thompson, Lula Reyling, Johnny Thompson, Shirley Atteberry, Sue Atteberry, and Peggy Romine. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Missy Whitecotton. Ms. Thompson is survived by her son Charles Whitecotton, daughters Ashley Welch and her husband Leonard, and Candy Peek and her husband Jeremy. Grandchildren: Sonny Welch, Jimmy Welch, Caylee Welch, and Jace Peek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her grandpuppy Maizy. Martha went to school in Montague. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and was part of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She was also a very loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by many. Ms. Thompson's funeral was Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Scott Morris Funeral Home Chapel.
