Maria Alvarez

Maria Alvarez passed away on August 27, 2018 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born in Celaya GTO Mexico on July 29, 1929. She was 89 years old.

Ms. Alvarez was preceded in death by her husband Rosendo Gomez in 2004.

Ms. Alvarez is survived by her children: Juan Gomez, Benjamin Gomez, Roberto Gomez, Martin Gomez, Bartolo Gomez, Aurelio Gomez and Ernestina Diaz. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Maria was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Nocona, Texas where she has lived for many years.

She liked to garden in her spare time when she was not enjoying her family.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 30 from 6-7 PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Nocona, Texas with interment following at Nocona Cemetery.
