Margie Ann Perkins

Margie Ann Perkins passed from this life on March 29, 2018 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 84. Margie was born on May 23, 1933 to Rube Horace Vickers and Artie Victoria (Wallace) Vickers in Alvarado, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hershel Perkins, sisters Clois Vickers and Ruby Nichols, and a son Glenn Perkins.

She is survived by her children: son, Eric Perkins, daughters Millie Wilson and her husband Mike, Lori Ivey and her husband John, eleven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as her sisters: Faye Spangler and Sheila Ice.

Margie was an amazing baker and cake decorator who also loved bowling and fishing, but the one thing she will most notably be remembered for is being passionate about her family. She lovingly took care of her husband as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Perkins will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery.
