Ms. Linda Pearl Huckaby passed away on November 15, 2017 in Nocona, Texas. Linda was born November 27, 1949 to Richard and Edith (Towery) Curnutte in Nocona. She married William E. "Dub" Huckaby in 1991, and they were married until Dub passed on July 6, 2002.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Dub, her sisters Dorothy Roper and Hazel Pendergraft and a brother Billy Joe Curnutte.
Linda is survived by her daughters Tresa Deane and husband James of Nocona and Cindy Cervantes and fiance Marc Barnes of Nocona; her sons Jimmy Groves and wife Jessica of Graham and Jason Kellogg of Nocona; grandchildren: Collen Cook, Tyler Groves, Lianna Biehl, Carly Barnes, David Groves and Adam Groves; great-granchildren: Jaxen Cook, Keilee Biehl, Callie Patrick, Raelynn Groves and Jaylan Groves; and siblings: Lilly Pigg, Curtis Curnutte, Charlie Curnutte, and Patsy Parks.
Ms. Huckaby was a housewife when she was a young mother. After the children were older, she continued to care for others, becoming a Certified Nurse's Aid and worked for Nocona Nursing Home for 27 years.
Linda loved God deeply, and her faith made her into the woman she was. Linda genuinely loved her husband, her children, and all her family, as well. Family was the whole world to Linda, and she leaves an empty space no one can fill. While her family misses her deeply, they also look forward to the day they can see her again in eternity.

Linda's family will celebrate her life in her funeral on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10AM at Assembly of God Church, Nocona, Texas, with Pastors Edwin Brooks and James Messer officiating.
