Linda Gail Whorton

Linda Gail Whorton passed away on February 22, 2019 at her home in Pottsboro, Texas. Ms. Wharton was 66 years old. She was born in Nocona, Texas on March 16, 1952 to David Leon Thompson and Hilda Lawana Emery.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dwight Lee Rich.

She is survived by Her children George Whorton and his wife Jackie of Barrington, AR, Lisa Armstrong and her husband Benton Bryant of Saginaw, Texas. She is also survived by her brother James and sister Janell. She is also survived by a very special friends Clyde LaMar, Gary and Candy Parker as well as Diane Hillner. Her legacy will live on his her grandchildren: Justin, Madison, Marcus, Marissa, Colin and Jacob and Brand as well as her great-grandchildren Maddie, Sage, Cash and Lauren. As well as numerous friends and extended family.

Ms. Whorton will be missed by all who knew her. The family will be receiving visitors Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services immediately following at 2:00PM at Molsbee Chapel Cemetery.
