Kathy Jo Chadwick

February 17, 1949 — August 25, 2016

Kathy Jo Chadwick spent 67 years with her family and friends before going to be with Jesus on August 25, 2016. She passed away surrounded by family under the care of the loving staff of Hospice of Wichita Falls. She was the second daughter to the late Jack Stamper and Mary Penix. Kathy was dearly loved by her daughter Malinda and son-in-law Nick Bergara, her grandkids David Paul and Brittanie Williamson, her sisters Patricia Davis, Betty Hunter and husband Henry, Barbara Burns and husband Phil, and her brothers Jesse Irvin Penix and Donald Penix. She also left behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends, whom she loved dearly. Kathy gave her life to Jesus over 20 years ago and followed in baptism at Carter Lake Baptist Church. The one thing she'd tell you if she could is that you are guaranteed to see her again if you ask Jesus into your heart, repent of your sins, and live your life for the Lord. Arrangements were handled by Scott Morris Funeral Home in Nocona, Texas. Her handmade wooded casket was crafted by Jon Brown of Nocona. The celebration of Kathy's life will be held at Carter Lake Baptist Church in Bowie on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2pm. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
