Karen (Richards) McCulloch of Nocona passed away December 26th, 2017 at the age of 56. Karen was born August 27, 1961 to W.E. and Christine Richards.
Karen was preceded in death by both parents, her brother Barry Willingham, and brother Weldon Willingham.
Karen is survived by her husband Charles McCulloch; daughter Chrystal McCulloch and Wayne Cannaday, son Billy McCulloch, son Steven McCulloch, son Mike McCulloch and Stormy Honea; grandchildren Cheyenne McCulloch, Katlynn Wigglesworth, Conner Wigglesworth, and Ally Wigglesworth; brother Lennie Hammonds; sisters Marsha Enriquez, Lori Contino, Misty Richards, and Kathy Willingham; half-brother Michael Richards; half-sister Terry Richards; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Karen worked for years in Denton at Hartzell Manufacturing as a supervisor. Part of her job included managing the work program for employees with disabilities. Karen deeply enjoyed her work and especially helping these wonderful employees. Later, Karen worked at the Dollar General in Nocona and became the manager there, as well. Karen also volunteered at the Nocona Laundromat, cleaning up and helping customers with whatever they may need.
Wherever she was, Karen loved helping people. Much of her life Karen was a stay-home mother, and her favorite job was loving her family. She took extra-special joy in her grandchildren. She is deeply loved and missed. Karen's funeral will be Saturday, January 6th at 10:00 AM at Scott Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Osborne officiating. Karen's family will receive visitors Friday evening, January 5th 6:00 - 7:00.
