Joanne Coventry

Joanne Underwood Coventry, 88, passed from this life Sunday, March 27th, 2022 in Nocona, TX. Joanne was born May 18th, 1933 to Joe and Goldie Underwood. She grew up in Nocona and graduated from Nocona High School.
Joanne married the love of her life Neil Ray Coventry November 24, 1950 in Nocona. They couple lived in Pampa, Perryton, Oklahoma City, and Longview before returning to Nocona to retire in 1993. Joanne was a devoted wife, loving mother, faithful Christian, and dedicated homemaker. She was a former member of the Saint Jo Assembly of God.
Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Neil; parents Joe Underwood and Goldie Tidwell; infant daughter Marcy Jan Coventry; brother Jackie Underwood; infant grandson Randy Duane Kile; and former son-in-law Richard Kile.
Joanne is survived by her children Jim Coventry (& wife Mary Jane), Julie Ann Kile, Neil Coventry (& wife Melinda); grandchildren Lora Elizabeth Taylor, Emily Christene Hughes, Kristi Gray, Mike Kile, Alicia McHenry, Katie Boatler; and 14 great grandchildren.
Joanne's funeral will be graveside at Nocona Cemetery Wednesday, March 30, 1:00 PM with Brother Donald Cheshier officiating, and under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
Joanne leaves a legacy of love and devotion, but her family takes comfort in knowing that Joanne had put her faith in Jesus and is enjoying her reward.
