Long time Nocona resident Jeanne Hoehn, age 94, passed away January 24, 2023, at the home of her daughter in Weatherford.
Born December 12, 1928, in Wolfe City in Hunt County, Jeanne was the second of four daughters of Howard Quinley Carpenter and Mazie Evelyn (Onstott) Carpenter. She graduated from Garland High School in 1946 and married Joe John (Jack) Hoehn July 18, 1946. Together they raised three daughters in Nocona.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 74 years, Jack Hoehn, daughter Terri Evelyn Hoehn, her parents, sisters Jimmie Louise Lucas, Zelda Rhea Carpenter, and Lenora Dean Manning.
Jeanne is survived by daughters Sheila Butler of Weatherford and Janie Leann Roach of Graham, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
