James Claythan Blevins

James Blevins passed away on July 17, 2023 in Wichita Falls Texas. He was born in Waurika, Oklahoma on January 15, 1963 to Virgle Blevins and Jequitta Blevins. Most of his education was in Nocona and then the school of hard knocks.

James is preceded in death by three brothers Raymond, Robert and Steve Blevins, his father and stepmother Virgle and Joyce Blevins and one sister Carol Dancy.

He is survived by his mother Jequitta Platt of Richardson, TX, one sister Jennie Abbott of Kingman, AZ. His legacy is left to his three sons Steven, William and Daniel Blevins and two daughters Brandi and Nikki all of Wichita Falls, TX as well as one granddaughter Alana, two grandsons Weslie and Santigo Blevins of Wichita Falls, TX, and one great-grandson Xavier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In the past years he has touched many people's lives in many ways. May the Lord bless him and keep him.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Scott-Morris Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00AM to noon.
