Enrique Delgado Valdez

Enrique Delgado Valdez, 62 of Nocona, passed from this life Saturday, October 23th, 2021 in Nocona. Enrique was born November 9th, 1958 to Antonio Delgado Garcia and Sofia Valdez Valdez in Fresnillo, Zac., Mexico. Enrique moved to the United States as a teenager and lived in Georgia for moving to Nocona in 2017.
Enrique was a hard worker, and worked in construction. When he wasn't working, he loved cheering for the Atlanta Braves, especially because he had lived in the Atlanta area for many years. He also enjoyed going to the casino, where he had lots of fun!
Enrique was friendly and outgoing. He never met a stranger. Even though he had only lived in Nocona about four years, he already had friends all over!
Enrique's great love was his family. He had such a large family that even a "small family gathering" was huge, and he loved it! He always made it a point, even a very large event, to spend time talking to each family member, including all his many nieces and nephews.
Enrique was preceded in death by his parents. Enrique is survived by his son Javier Delgado; brother Maurilio Delgado Valdez, sisters Ofelia Delgado Valdez, Ma. Magdalena Delgado Valdez, Ma. De los Angeles Delgado Valdez, and San Juana Delgado Valdez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Enrique's funeral will be Saturday, October 30, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Nocona, led by Father Albert. Enrique's rosary service will be Thursday, October 28, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
