Doyle Wayne Wooten

Doyle Wayne Wooten, was born March 12, 1936 to Charles and Maude (Miller) Wooten and passed away October 11, 2015 at his home in Nocona Hills, at the age of 79. Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Mae (Flippin) Wooten in 2004, his parents, and several siblings. Doyle is survived by his sisters Barbara Gambel and Lucille Kniff; daughters Judy Culberson of Iowa Park and Jennifer Leane Ibars of Wichita Falls, four grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews. Doyle served faithfully in the National Guard from 1954 through 1961. He loved playing golf at Nocona Hills and playing bridge at the Carpenter's Shop. Doyle has been an active member, deacon, and music minister at Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church, and before he moved to Nocona had been an active member at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. Doyle's memorial service will be Friday, October 23 at 1:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills church in Nocona with Duane McClure officiating.
