Dominga Cabrera Ogeda was born June 29, 1930 in Karnes City, Texas to Viviano Esponza and Louisa Villareal Esponza. She passed from this life on August 9th, 2015 in her home in Nocona, Texas. Ms. Ogeda was preceded in death by two husbands, Amado Cabrera in 1989 to whom she was married to for 44 years as well as her second husband Robert Ogeda whom she was married to for 16 years. Dominga was also preceded in death by two daughters Josie Concannon and Marcie Martinez as well as her sister Simona. Ms. Ogeda is survived by her daughters: Carolina Duarte, Dominga Duarte, Rosa Castro, Mary Gomez, Patsy Randell, and Amanda Chism. As well as her sons Emilio, Ricky, Frank, Chico, Viviano Cabrera. She is also survived by four stepchildren, two brothers, and three sisters. Ms. Ogeda had a very large extended family in that she is survived by 42 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren. As well as a host of friends. This amazing woman has 4 different sets of 5 generations. What a legacy she has left behind. Ms. Dominga Cabrera Ogeda was an avid gardner and loved her flowers and to work in her garden. She also loved to cook for her family and made the BEST hot sauce according to her children. Most people may not know that Dominga was also a television star. She was interviewed on channel 6 news for having "The most festive home" during the Christmas season. She had two acres of land that she decorated with lights. She truly had the first fantasy of lights display. Ms. Ogeda was a long time member of the First Baptist church in Terral, Oklahoma. This was her hometown and where she raised her 13 children where they enjoyed the annual watermelon jubilee. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Scott Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Friday August 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Terral, OK with internment at the cemetery in Terral.
