Dave Jordan

Carl David “Dave” Jordan, 88, passed from this life January 23rd, 2022 in Wichita Falls. Dave was born October 31st 1933 in Newport, Texas to Dan and Daisy Jordan. Dave enlisted in the U.S. Army in January, 1955. While in the Army, Dave served in the Korean War. He served until January, 1958 then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Dave believed in honest, hard work. He worked in many different capacities over the years including pipeline welder, restauranteur, and truck stop owner. Dave managed a peanut dryer in Pearsall Texas for several years before he retired and moved back to Henrietta. Dave was honest and kind and had a gentle spirit. To know Dave was to like him! Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his sons George Michael Jordan, David Kent Jordan, and Mark Randall Jordan: and his brothers Dan, Coye, Loomis, and Truman. Dave is survived by his son Carey Jordan (and wife Jana); three grandsons: Jeffrey, Mark and Leland Jordan; and six great-grandchildren: Caleb, Amy, Nia, Kinsler, Leighton, and Khristy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dave’s funeral is set for Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, 10:00 A.M. at First Christian Church in Henrietta, Texas with Howard Walker officiating, and under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery near Henrietta.
