Charles Alvis Wilson

Charles Wilson was born on January 18th, 1956 in Nocona, Texas. He passed from this life on July 11th, 2017, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grand parents, Arlie and Newell Weaver, parents: Alvis and Ruby Wilson and his long term partner John.

He is survived by his sister Louise Ramsey and husband Jacky of Montague, his brother Clifton Wilson of Corpus Christi, and sister Teresa Wilson from Denton. Charles is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Charles was a jolly, personable man that never met a strange. He could turn your bad day into a good one and tried to do that on a daily basis. He was very loving and his presence will be missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Charles was a spiritual man who was baptized into the Lord's family at Bethel Baptist, but frequently visited many churches to learn about others history and beliefs. He loved history and was very curious to learn about other religions.

A memorial service for Mr. Wilson will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church Nocona, Texas.
