Cecil Pendergraft

Cecil Glenn Pendergraft, 83 of Bowie, passed from this life February 28th, 2024. Cecil was born July 12, 1940 in Nocona to D.W. and Tiny Bell Pendergraft. He was lifelong resident of Nocona before moving to Advanced Rehab in Bowie.
Cecil loved working in the garden with his dad and his brothers. When he wasn't gardening, Cecil could usually be found watching Westerns or listening to country music, especially George Straight or Terri Clark. He also had a beautiful singing voice, but he kept that one a secret from most. Cecil lived a simple, straight-forward life. He knew how to love, laugh, work, and play.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers James, Billy, Joe, & Royce. He is survived by his sister Glenda Davis, nephews Terry Davis and Jefferey Davis (& wife Tabitha), niece Becky Brewer, and many friends who loved him dearly and will miss him everyday. Cecil's funeral will be graveside at Starkey Cemetery Friday, March 1, 2024, 10:00 AM with John Morris, Jr. officiating, and under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
