Bill Gene Yarbrough

Bill Gene Yarbrough Mr. Yarbrough was born on October 25,1933 in a small house on Main St. in Nocona, Texas. He passed from this life on April 10, 2015 at Wise Regional Hospital in Decatur, Texas. Bill was born to Eva and Gene Yarbrough, grew up in Nocona where he graduated high school in 1951, attended this church in original building until shortly after he married Suzie (Evans) Yarbrough and began a 17 year journey in which they had four children. Daughters, LaJuana and Angel and two sons, WR and wife Sue and Jimmy and wife Patty. They spend most of their years in the metroplex where he worked for Texas Electric Power Co., Metropolitan Insurance Co. before joining the Dallas Fire Dept, where he worked until retirement as Chief. His second job or pleasure was music, he recorded and performed for many years. he coached peewee football, avid golfer and fisherman, stamp and coin collector. He could tell jokes for hours and took on the whole family with card games and dominoes!! In the early 70's he married Yvonne Yarbrough and had two daughters, Dejah and Kalindi. Through his six children he had 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and a great grandson on way. He is preceded in death by his parents.
