Oak St., Nocona, Texas 76255 Phone (940)825-3338 Fax(940)825-3676 OBITUARY Miss Amy Reae Whitney, 33, long time resident of Nocona, Texas, passed away March 20, 2014 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX. A life celebration will be held Saturday March 29, 2014, 11 am. at Christ Community Church, in Nocona, Tx. with the Rev. Mark Graham officiating. Amy 'Maymoo" was known for her 1000 watt smile and her laugh that started from the depth of her soul and bubbled over. Amy loved everyone unconditionally, never met a stranger and was related to everyone. Although Amy will be greatly missed, she will be celebrated because she is singing and dancing with the angels and is reunited with her mom and dad. Amy was preceded in death by her father, Leonard "Bo" Whitney, and her mother, Audrey Whitney. Survivors include her Sister Kandy Kohles Fleurisma and husband Gregory, Niece Paayton and nephew Tryston. Aunt and caregiver Lena Lemons and husband Jess, Aunts; Lora Schlink and husband Jeff, Darlene Denney and husband Ray, Edna Williams, Edith Whitney Alford, Teressa Whitney Kurszewski and husband Bob, Numerous Cousins and her dog Charlie Memorials in lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Prairie Valley Special Education Department, contact Cathy Harris at the Prairie Valley School in Nocona, Tx. .
