Alice Foy Wade-Molsbee passed away September 9th, 2017 in Fort Worth at the age of 86. Foy was born February 3rd, 1931 to Noble and Ella Wade in Smithfield, TX.
At the tender age of 10 years old, Foy believed in the blessed gospel of Jesus Christ, committed her life to Him, and was saved by Him. Foy's faith later grew at the Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Colleyville, thanks in large part to the movement of the Holy Spirit through Pastor Allison.
Foy earned her Bachelor's Degree from Decatur Baptist College. While there, she met Samuel William "S.W." Molsbee in 1947. She loved the laughter and joy he brought to her life. They married September 3, 1947, and spent 48 years continuing to love and support each other.
Foy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband S.W., two daughters, Barbara Davis and Janice Ann Molsbee, and her son Wade Molsbee.
Foy is survived by her daughter Rosemary Molsbee-Smith and husband Terry Smith of Michigan, daughter Margaret Harrington of Grapevine, grandchildren Jeremy and Jeffrey Smith, Amy Cazalas, Alisha Garza, J.W. Harrington, Karen McDaniel, Heather Molsbee, Amanda Eldridge, Anthony Davis, and Becky Dunaway, and 17 great-grandchildren.
While Foy leaves an incredible legacy of family and of love, she has gone on to the reward she looked forward to her entire life. She is with the Father, the Savior, and the Spirit, enjoying the beauty of creation in perfection for all eternity. Foy's funeral was Friday, September 15th at Molsbee Chapel Cemetery in Nocona, under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
