Albert Henry Petty

Albert Henry Petty of Nocona passed from this life Wednesday, October 24th, at the age of 68. Albert was born June 8, 1950 in Brownwood to Thomas and Rosie Petty. Albert married Mary (Denney) in 1986, and they enjoyed thirty-two wonderful years of marriage. Albert worked much of his life as a cook, and anyone who had the pleasure of eating Albert's cooking can attest to how great he was at it! Albert loved watching wrestling and his Dallas Cowboys.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Petty, sisters Patty Petty and Betty Hunter, and one grandson, Joel Mills.
Albert is survived by his loving wife Mary, step-children Raymond Mills, Eddie Mills, and Brenda Sentell; grandchildren Marlaina McKnight, Cassie Smith, Joshua Mills, Mary Miller, Rebecca Mills, Samantha Sentell, Kyle Sentell, and Ashley Sentell; great-grandchildren Emma Gomez, Laramie Smith, Clara Smith, Bryson McKnight, Brylee McKnight, and Branson McKnight; his sister Alta Watkins and husband Jack, brother Thomas Petty and wife Diane, and brother Morris Petty.
Albert was truly loved and is already deeply missed. Albert's graveside funeral will be Monday, October 29th, 10:00 AM at Nocona Cemetery, with Don Hendrix officiating. Albert's family has entrusted Scott-Morris Funeral Home with his funeral service.
